Sneak Peak "As Is"

With the rebuild of our main clothing store officially under way, we thought a preview of some of the new product coming for Spring 2011 would be fitting.

We found As Is while walking the many miles of trade shows this fall. Much of the collection can be worn by both sexes, and captures the enchantment of the Southwest with Native American embroidery on slouchy t-shirts, tanks, and dresses.

As Is debuts at Villains February 2011.

Ksubi Women's Fall 2010

Since its arrival in 2002, KSUBI has always had a special place in the heart of certain fashionistas. The artists, musicians, surfers and skaters, the punks who grew up a bit but still hold true to their roots...the girls who borrow their style from the boys and make it completely and utterly their own.
This seasons women's collection has brought a throwback to the early nineties but done in a completely modern way. Thermal tanks that loosely drape over the body, baggy boyfriend shorts in a perfectly faded wash, and my favorite, the floral lace printed denim in the spray-on fit. And remember that badass jacket, with the studded eagle on the back...they did that for the ladies too.

For being an Australian brand they definitley know what us California girls like. A dash of sugar to offset a whole lotta spice.

Shoes to Fall Head Over Heels For

San Francisco weather is starting to shift as the official first day of fall quickly approaches. The last few warm days offer up plenty of opportunities to wear flimsy dresses and shorts, while the chilly nights remind us that we need to ground those summer clothes with something a bit more substantial...and that is where fall shoes come in. Though the knee length riding boot is one of the first thing us San Francisco ladies think of, there are a bevy of other options out there, and Villains Shoes has them all. Everything from the ranch boot to the clog oxford, the tasseled pump to the gumsole chukka wedge. Each one offering up a unique twist to fall dressing. Go bare legged or spruce up with tights and socks, either way you'll be ready for whatever the weather, and fashion, throws at you this season.

Obey Men's Fall 2010

Fall is offering up some classic pieces from some of our favorite brands, one of which is Obey. A long standing fixture in the surf and skate culture, Obey has always excelled in giving men exactly what they want to wear everyday. Perfectly soft flannels, statement making graphic tees and wear-with-all jackets and hoodies. With its constant collaboration with artists like Shepard Fairey and its lack of over branding, Obey is quickly becoming a staple in the wardrobes of more then just the counter culture. Stop in and stock up for those chilly San Francisco days that are fast approaching.

Ksubi Mens Fall 2010

Ksubi's Fall 2010 collection has finally arrived in our store after much anticipation!
One of our favorite brands for quite some time, Ksubi recently celebrated its 10th year in the fashion world, with a fall collection focused on texture and inspired by the 80's post punk movement in Australia.
Shirts that feel like you've owned them for years adorned with peeling graphics and cigarette burns and jeans that range from faded and worn in to rigid and ink black.
One of our favorite pieces is the reversed sweater that you'll never want to take off and , the most epic piece in the whole collection, in sizes for men and women, the light washed denim jacket with a silver studded American eagle splayed over the entire back.

How could you not feel like a total bad ass in these clothes?

Indian Summer III

This is the third and final installment of our Indian Summer series.  September is here, along with balmy 85 degree days, but something tells me that this lovely stifled San Francisco summer will soon give way to chillier averages, as windy afternoons chase away the sun ushering the signature fog and clouds back to us...

Nortwick

Nortwick is an extension of the dark, edgy line Endovanera. Hailing from Los Angeles California, the brand focuses on providing a modern twist on classic basics. Nortwick offers contemporary pieces at a modest, accessible price point. The lower price point is not a reflection of the quality, as I find most pieces to be stunning, more distinguished than their mainstream contemporaries, and beautifully constructed. Nortwick pieces look great worn together, but can mix separately into some of your favorite outfits to give them a new edge. Stop by The Vault and check out our new arrivals from Nortwick.
